The Clean Team!

The FSCC AAH Spring Cleanup 2025 was a roaring success and all went well! Apple Grove School Road is litter-free thanks to this crew!  The weather conditions were perfect. The nine enthusiastic volunteers wore their stylish safety vests and tackled the roadside with gusto, being mindful of the 1 to 550 horsepower vehicles.  Armed with trash bags and 5-gallon buckets, they gathered the usual trashy items plus new for this cleanup, quite a few disposable vaping devices. Linda Berry insisted on cleaning up a dead chicken but decided against what was left of a deer, which wasn’t much. By the end of the cleanup, the roadside was not only spotless, but also buzzing with the satisfaction of a job well done.  One of the residents expressed his appreciation for our efforts! Afterwards, we met at the Hollywood Diner, a FSCC gold sponsor, for a quick lunch. We look forward to this fall’s cleanup. Until then, have a great summer!
