A Clean sweep!
A beautiful fall day was bestowed upon us as we cleaned up our designated Adopt a Highway road on October 18th. We had 8 volunteers - 7 walkers and one driver who ferried some of us to one end of the road so we could meet in the middle. Nothing exciting was found - not even too many liquor bottles! Several of the residents along the way thanked us for helping clean up their lovely road! It's nice to be appreciated!

F.S.C.C. ANNUAL CAR SHOW
On Sunday, September 18, FSCC VP Linda Silvaggio put her imagination into “passing gear” and led 25 club members in 12 Corvettes with one escort vehicle in search of this “mysterious” destination. Winding our way through back roads, we were off the beaten path and away from other traffic laden highways. After a pleasant drive, we reached Schaeffer’s Canal House in Chesapeake City, Md.
Once inside, we were escorted to our reserved area where a great lunch was enjoyed by all.
We all join in thanking Linda for organizing this trip! Perhaps next season there’ll be more opportunities like this.
2022 Chester River Dinner Cruise
There was plenty of sunshine for the cruise-in. There are 9 more chances to join in, this year.
Highway Clean Up!
It was a beautiful spring day when our veteran adopters took to Apple Grove School Road to perform our semi-annual cleanup for the Adopt A Highway program. The 4 of us present split up with 2 going to the end of the road via automobile, and we met in the middle. Walking less is a beautiful thing! As usual, most of the items found were discarded beer cans and bottles and drink cups. The residents along the street wave to us and do appreciate what we do. There is even one couple that lets us leave our bags at their house and they take care of disposing of it! It is an easy, worthwhile community endeavor.
