Spring Cleaning? It's that time again!
FSCC members, once again, took to the roadway, gathering all things that shouldn't be there. A few years ago, the club adopted Apple Grove School Road and has continued cleaning the area, twice a year! Come this fall, "We'll be back!"

Highway Clean Up!
It was a beautiful spring day when our veteran adopters took to Apple Grove School Road to perform our semi-annual cleanup for the Adopt A Highway program. The 4 of us present split up with 2 going to the end of the road via automobile, and we met in the middle. Walking less is a beautiful thing! As usual, most of the items found were discarded beer cans and bottles and drink cups. The residents along the street wave to us and do appreciate what we do. There is even one couple that lets us leave our bags at their house and they take care of disposing of it! It is an easy, worthwhile community endeavor.
In the photo from left to right are Bill Olechney, Linda Berry, George DeOld and Elaine Straughn. Taking the photo was Wayne Straughn, designated driver.

In the photo from left to right: Linda Berry, Bill Olechney behind her, Kathy Olechney, BettyAnn Johnson, George DeOld and Rick Schaeffer, with Elaine Straughn down front. The photographer, John Johnson was also our driver..big thanks to him!

Mysterious Cruise?
On Sunday, September 18, FSCC VP Linda Silvaggio put her imagination into “passing gear” and led 25 club members in 12 Corvettes with one escort vehicle in search of this “mysterious” destination. Winding our way through back roads, we were off the beaten path and away from other traffic laden highways. After a pleasant drive, we reached Schaeffer’s Canal House in Chesapeake City, Md.
Once inside, we were escorted to our reserved area where a great lunch was enjoyed by all.
We all join in thanking Linda for organizing this trip! Perhaps next season there’ll be more opportunities like this.

2022 Chester River Dinner Cruise

There was plenty of sunshine for the cruise-in. There are 9 more chances to join in, this year.
