HISTORY AND MISSION OF FIRST STATE CORVETTE CLUB

The First State Corvette Club was established in 1970 by seven dedicated Corvette lovers, centrally located in the Dover, DE area. Club membership is open to all Corvette owners and enthusiasts.  While the Club is Delaware based, members are located throughout Delmarva, the western shore of Maryland, southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey.

Club meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at different eating establishments throughout Kent County, Delaware. Location of the next meeting can be found on the News page. You do not need to attend the meeting to join in any of the events. Monthly newsletters serve as minutes of the meeting and are emailed to all members, listing upcoming activities and information.

The purpose of the Club is to enjoy the cars socially and provide a means of participating with other Corvette owners and enthusiasts. There is at least one activity per month which may consist of rallies, shows, parades, get-togethers, picnics and/or trips.

The club has sponsored several charities and participates in many community activities. You do not have to have a garage kept car to participate. We just like to get out and Vette-together.

The First State Corvette Club is proud to be a founding member and sponsor of the National Corvette Museum.
