Cooking Breakfast at Ronald McDonald House
The First State Corvette Club had 27 members travel up to the Ronald McDonald House in Wilmington to cook breakfast for the current residents and staff. This is always a fulfilling experience for the members, getting to meet all the residents and their parents, as well as the parents and relatives of the children undergoing treatment at the A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children. This is something the club does twice a year, and enjoys it immensely. Our chairperson Kathy Messer and all her little minions make the task one of joy and compassion. Thanks to all that helped. Today this group fed 24 residents, 5 employees and 27 members.
