Donations to Charities

At our September meeting, the First State Corvette Club presented two of our favorite charities with checks. In July, we had 38 members volunteer to work security in the Casino parking lot at the Delaware State Fair. We worked two 3 hr. shifts each night of the fair. The salary for working was donated to two charities chosen by the workers. Dave Zerbe, member and representative of the Casino presented each charity a $900 check from FSCC. Attending and accepting the checks were: Toni Bergerfelder of The Home of the Brave Foundation, and Lois Wilkinson of The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. Thank you to all the workers and their generous gift of their time.
