Lions Club of Dover and The First State Corvette Club have something in common! That’s the message shared by Warren Hensley, Public Relations Chair for The First State Corvette Club. Well known for community service, members of the Lions club are involved in a myriad of projects all year long. The Lions are well known for working to supply eye wear to folks who may not be able to have professional eye care at all.
During Mr. Hensley’s presentation at the Lion’s monthly meeting on August 19th, he explained FSCC’s continued support of The Home Of The Brave in Milford, Delaware. On September 8, 2019, The Pizzadili Vineyard and Winery will be the scene for FSCC’s annually Festival and Car Show. All proceeds will benefit The Home Of The Brave. Visit FSCC’s web site at www.firststatecorvetteclub.net for more information.
Other ideas were discussed and the possibility exists for a joint project involving these two groups to benefit The Code Purple of Dover program.
