Final Run to Flight 93

A group of 21 members made Norm's final run to Flight 93 Memorial. Great weather Saturday traveling up those infamous Corvette roads in Western Maryland.

After checking into the Casselman Inn Motel, some took naps, some had wine, some went to the candy store and some even took walks. Weather was perfect for any activity and the trees were turning yellow, gold and red.

At dinner, the Casselman Inn gave us a private room for us and we all enjoyed a great dinner - even those that did not order Honey Fried Chicken. After dinner, some of the members met in the motel lobby to enjoy wine, cheese and crackers and plenty of talk.

Bright and early Sunday morning, after scrapping heavy frost off the Corvettes, we had breakfast at the Penn Alps restaurant and headed to Flight 93 Memorial.

Beautiful skys, bright blue with little white clouds, and hardly any breeze at the 93-foot Tower of Voices. This new addition only has 5-6 chimes installed to date but will eventually have 40 for the 40 crew and passengers that lost their lives there.

Thanks to Norm for a great trip and all those that attended.
